At the Forum, we aim to foster greater public understanding and action around pressing health challenges. We are committed to “think globally and act locally” and want the Forum to be a hub for all. Involving the public in dialogue and debate is key to our work. We offer opportunities to contribute views and experiences, hear the views and experiences of leading doers and thinkers, and learn from the best available research evidence. Our intent is help people to become active, informed participants in healthcare and health.
We are a resource for synthesis and opinions on critical health challenges. Forum products, including videos, are available to promote better understanding of healthcare and health issues, identify research and policy log jams, and encourage people to become involved in addressing the issues. You can view video commentary from event participants or read event summaries on pressing health topics.
We also host a variety of public events to encourage informed conversation about critical health issues.
- Public events feature guest speakers from the frontiers of efforts to address pressing health challenges.
- Student-led events look at health challenges from innovative and unpredictable perspectives.
