Amanda Hammill leads the administration and analysis of evaluations of evidence briefs, citizen briefs, stakeholder dialogues, citizen panels, and courses available through Health Systems Learning (www.healthsystemslearning.org ) and is a research coordinator at the McMaster Health Forum’s Impact Lab. She also contributes to the regular updating of Health Systems Evidence (www.healthsystemsevidence.org). She has experience in qualitative and quantitative research methods, including conducting systematic reviews in the field of health policy and systems research. Her interests lie broadly in identifying social, political and economic influences on policymaking processes in the health sector, with a specific focus on the practices and effects of knowledge translation and exchange in the area of health human resources. She earned her Master’s degree in social welfare policy and an Ontario Training Centre graduate diploma in Health Services and Policy Research at McMaster University.
