Students

Welcome

The Forum works by involving concerned citizens and influential thinkers and doers. Part of our mandate is to nurture the leaders of tomorrow by exposing them to the leaders and challenges of today. We seek to involve students in all our activities.

We offer several ways for students to experience the Forum.

  • Our Student-led Dialogue and Debates series focuses on highly topical health challenges that concern students and the general public. These dialogues and debates are organized by our Student Sub-Committee, and open to the public. Held on campus, we encourage students to attend and participate actively.
  • Our Simulations Courses offer students the chance to participate in simulated hospital board meetings, cabinet meetings, and World Health Organization (WHO) Executive Board meetings, and interact with decision makers.
  • Our Fellows Program allows McMaster students to study evidence synthesis, deliberations and public engagement. Fellows are exposed to influential doers and thinkers at Forum events, and through internships at government ministries and international agencies such as the World Health Organization.
