Our Visiting Leaders come from around the world, and from both academic and public policy arenas. They offer unique perspectives and participate actively in the intellectual life of the Forum.
Our Visiting Leaders play a significant role in Forum programs such as liaising with the leadership of the Student-led Dialogue and Debate series or helping organize high-profile dialogues. They may explore a particular Forum-related topic by contributing to writing an evidence brief to support a Stakeholder Dialogue or evaluating the Faculty-led Dialogue and Debate series. While at the Forum, they can participate in Forum events, and work with McMaster's leading experts in evidence synthesis, knowledge translation, stakeholder and citizen dialogues, and human communication.
Most Visiting Leaders are on a research leave from their own university, a secondment from an international agency or a career break.
