Karolina Kowalewski

Karolina is responsible for the ongoing development of the Evidence-Informed Healthcare Renewal (EIHR) Portal, which is part of Health Systems Evidence. She helps identify and code policy-relevant documents that specifically pertain to healthcare renewal in Canada, to improve decision-makers’ access to this rich material. She recently completed her master’s degree in the Global Health Program at McMaster University, and previously earned a bachelor’s degree in health sciences from the University of Calgary. Karolina’s previous research experience includes a focus on children’s mental health services, and she has worked as a research assistant at the University of Calgary, and as an intern with the World Health Organization’s Department of Chronic Diseases and Health Promotion.
